We have concluded a deal with Cloud Technology Solutions to fully migrate all student and taught post graduate email during the week following the switchover – our intention is to have all student email fully migrated by the beginning of Semester 2 – more details to follow
Will that include student contacts? I can’t see a way of exporting them or saving messages. Full student migration will be a big help.

I am a Post grad studying the Diploma in Legal Practice. My s.dorian@dundee.ac.uk email address is my correspondence address for all my ongoing job applications. I have extremely valuable emails in said inbox that I can no longer access due to the migration.
This’ issue’ was not made clear in the pre-migration emails.
Do you intend to migrate over the contents of the groupwise inbox?
I must have access to these emails ASAP.

The decision to migrate student mail was a late one rather than to ask students to migrate their own mail. The migration will take place during the next week. In the meantime you may still access your mail in GW using https://gwwebmail.dundee.ac.uk An error certificate appears but this may safely be ignored.
