We have been made aware of a current issue affecting iOS 6.1-based devices. This issue is not having a detrimental effecting on our email. However if you are using an iOS 6.1-based device you may see the following error message in your mailbox:

“Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed.”

The only option available to you is to click on OK. This may also cause the battery on your device to flatten very quickly.

Both Apple and Microsoft are investigating this issue. More information can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2814847

Module distribution lists are now available in the Global Address Book in dMail as automatic lists. These lists are generated from data held on SITS. When a new module appears on a student record, a list for that module will be generated. When no students are listed on a module, the list will disappear.

To find a module distribution list, search for the module code in the Global Address Book.

Module distribution lists can be added to personal contact groups i.e. you can create a group containing a module list and selected academic and administrative staff.
