Are you finding Internet Explorer is loading slowly?

If you are finding that Internet Explorer is loading slowly, add-ons may be slowing down the launch of the browser. This is a common issue with Internet Explorer.

New apps – Java & Blackberry desktop manager

New apps added:

  • Blackberry Desktop Manager (Apps on Demand > Utilities)
  • Java SE 6.24 & SE 7.17 (Apps on Demand > Utilities > Java)

 Note on Java
Java can introduce vulnerabilities into a desktop and is therefore not installed by default on the Managed Desktop. Some applications require Java to run, therefore two versions are available to install from Apps on Demand. You will have to check the software that you are using to decide which version is best for you.

Users who need WebADI and PECOS should install Java SE 6.24.
