Welcome to our University libraries!
These spaces are more than just a collection of books – they are vibrant hubs for learning, collaboration, and academic growth. To ensure everyone feels safe, respected, and able to focus, we kindly ask all library members to review and adhere to our updated Library Regulations.
As we begin a new semester, we have refreshed our regulations to maintain a positive and productive study environment for the entire university community. Established by the Learning & Teaching Committee, these regulations provide a framework for library operations, ensuring consistent and fair services for everyone.
We appreciate that regulations can seem dull, but these regulations exist to protect the Library’s resources and foster a respectful atmosphere where everyone feels safe and can thrive. By following these rules, such as keeping noise levels down, treating materials with care, and adhering to borrowing limits, we all contribute to creating a welcoming space for study and academic pursuits.
Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the complete library regulations, including the section on conduct and behaviour. If you have any questions or need assistance, our helpful staff will be more than happy to provide support. Let’s keep our university libraries as safe and clean places of learning, discovery, and community.
Thank you for your cooperation and for being part of our vibrant academic community. Enjoy your studies.
