The Global Room is a new social space on City Campus for students to relax, meet new people and celebrate cultural events.
The University of Dundee is a vibrant, international campus with students and staff from all over the world and we want to celebrate the amazing cultural diversity we have right on our doorstep.
If you want to expand your horizons beyond Dundee, come in and learn about our global exchange and study abroad opportunities. But you don’t need to leave Dundee to have a truly international experience. Come to The Global Room where all students and staff are welcome, have a chat with our friendly team and find out about our upcoming events such as the Conversation Café and international film screenings. We’ll be holding more cultural events following our recent St Andrews Day celebration. Located in a bustling part of City Campus behind the Tower Building in the old College Hall, we are keen to honour the history of the university while looking to the future and encouraging all students and staff to have a truly international experience right here in Dundee.
Looks like a great facility – cannot wait to use it.
Can we bring friends? I have an American student friend who is a US graduate and is now studying part-time somewhere, but who would love to make friends here in Dundee (and perhaps we can convert her to UoD?)

The Medical School Postgraduate Admin team were invited to the Global Room yesterday.
We have to agree it is a lovely warm and homely environment for students (and staff) to enjoy. We will be encouraging our students to go there when on Main Campus and we will be booking the room for events.
