Experience a different culture whilst studying in China

Applications are now open for our ECUST Summer School 2020.

There is still uncertainty about when the Coronavirus situation will be completely resolved, in the meantime, we are proceeding with the application process so that our students will not miss this fantastic opportunity should it be possible to travel to China again in summer 2020.

Successful applicants will spend four weeks studying at the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), where they will experience new places, cultures, learning experiences and relationships.

The summer school will develop your understanding of a number of disciplines, including biomedical, mechanical and civil engineering.

You will participate in a range of innovative science and engineering projects, visit industries with new technologies, and increase your understanding of the supply chain network management practices in China.

Cultural field trips, language studies, martial arts and Chinese painting will also expose you to different areas of Chinese culture.

Amy Gourlay (third year Computer Science student) summed up her experience. She said, “This was an unforgettable experience with memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.”
