Experience a different culture whilst studying in China

Applications are now open for our ECUST Summer School 2020.

Successful applicants will spend eight weeks studying at the East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), where they will experience new places, cultures, learning experiences and relationships.

Running from June to August, the summer school will develop your understanding of a number of disciplines, including biomedical, mechanical and civil engineering.

You will participate in a range of innovative science and engineering projects, visit industries with new technologies, and increase your understanding of the supply chain network management practices in China.

Cultural field trips, language studies, martial arts and Chinese painting will also expose you to different areas of Chinese culture.

Amy Gourlay (third year Computer Science student) summed her experience up
“This was an unforgettable experience with memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.”

All students who successfully pass the summer school will receive 20 credits under module EG23001 Global Challenges in Engineering and Technology. The module does not count to any degree but will reflect your global experience.
