Our exhibition, “Policing the Nation: the History of Policing in Scotland”, runs from 1st April until 31st May 2013 at the Lamb Gallery in the University of Dundee’s main Tower Building. An additional exhibit on Dundee policing will be displayed at the Central Library, Dundee, during this period. The exhibitions will showcase Scottish policing artefacts from c.1800-1939, highlighting the vibrant history of policing in Scotland as the country’s eight regional forces are amalgamated into a single, national force.
Looking forward to coming down in the New Force month and having a good browse.

Visited the exhibition today.
I set up the (former) Fife Constabulary Museum, way back in 1995-6.
Nice to see so many of the Fife artefacts in the exhibition!
Where would Scottish Policing History be without good old Fife? 😉
Robin,
Thank you for taking the time to come and see the exhibition – the Fife artefacts do play a prominent part, and it is a credit to yourself and colleagues that these artefacts are still around. We have the conference coming up this month too. The full programme can be found here: http://www.sipr.ac.uk/RSE_2013/register.php
Best wishes,
