Last Saturday (17th September) the Vintage Weigh & Pay came to town; naturally I jumped at the opportunity to snag some vintage bargains at Bonar Hall. The event was open to whole public, not just students, and signs were posted all over Dundee advertising the abundance of bargains available. Items are priced at £15 for a Kilo, that equals basically an entire outfit for £15 rather than going to the high-street stores and spending the same amount on one t-shirt. Entry was £1.50 at 11am, however early bird hour beginning at 10am was £3 Entry. I decided to go early and skip the queues.

I spent about £50 and got two pairs of Levis Shorts, a Lacoste jumper, a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt and so much more. The smiling staff were always happy to help, and upon entry they even stamped your hand so you could get back in again quicker, if you left, to save you from having to brave the queue again. Better yet there was still hope, for anyone who wasn’t an early bird, to get some fantastic bargains, as the staff put out new stock every hour, so no matter what time you arrived you’d be sure to find something you love.
