With Easter right around the corner, I thought I’d take some time out of my morning to show you what our beautiful campus looks like in the Spring sunshine.
One of the most unique thing about UoD’s campus is the diversity of the buildings. Walking past these buildings everyday, it becomes easy to take them for granted. Which is a shame, because they’re actually pretty awesome. A beautiful hybrid of old and new- our campus is a timeline of the evolution of UoD: from a college of St Andrews University to the Best University in Scotland.
The greenery and peacefulness of our campus makes if difficult to believe that we are actually located slap bang in the city centre. And an incredibly forward thinking and modern city centre at that. The current development of the new Victoria and Albert Museum along the waterfront and a state of the art train station on its way, make the University of Dundee the perfect place to be a student. Moving forward with the convenience of sparkly new shopping and living complexes, whilst working and learning in buildings entrenched in history and culture.
For those of you who haven’t had a chance to visit the university yet- I recommend you come and take a look for yourself. Because, quite honestly, UoD campus will surprise you in ways you didn’t expect. As I approach my final weeks in Dundee, I beginning to realise how much I am going to miss living, working and being in such a beautiful place.
Open days coming up on the 28th August and 23rd September- be sure to come and take a look!
Here are a few of my favourite spots on campus. Enjoy!
