Last chance to…

Well it might not be my last chance, but as I have no timetable until I matriculate, everything is a bit up in the air.

I am a full time mental problem solver. This means I help people and individuals get their head out of the way of them being the best they can be. I am planning to continue this while I study ( I should mention at this point that I get bored easily)

Individually, this is a 6 week cycle, with session 2 being 2 weeks after session 1. So I’m a bit stuck right now for booking people in for a second session. Will I be free through the day or not? I have a few waiting to find out so we can book in their second session.

I also have an office in Aberdeen one day a week. I’m not sure how often I will get up there any more.

That’s work. I also like playing on the Xbox. But I know from when I was previously a student, that it is more fun to play computer games when you have something else you should be doing! Anyway, I’ve just downloaded a new game. Maybe I can finish it before next week?

I like to do talks. I believe in changing the way we think about the way we think. I am doing a talk next Tuesday evening. And then another in October. The one in November is waiting on my timetable as that’s through the day.

And then there is family. My husband has eye problems, is diabetic, and has a serious back injury. He has appointments at hospital I need to take him to, through the day. What if they conflict with my timetable?

From next week, I’m hoping everything will be a little less up in the air. Meanwhile, I am mentally doing that thing where you go “This is the last chance I’ll have to do…” about many things

Hi, my name is Dawn Walton and I am a 44 year old therapist that lives in the Dundee area. I'm originally from Anglesey in North Wales, but I've lived here for 17 years. My first degree was in Computing at UMIST in Manchester. Now I'm studying a Masters in Psychological Research Methods with the aim of going on to do a Phd.

I love Starbucks and Pokemon Go. So they are likely to feature in my posts quite often!
