The astute amongst you will notice that technically today is day 4. That about sums up Day 3. I was up at 5am and got home at 8pm.
On Tuesday (Day 2) I had arranged to do a talk in Broughty Ferry at 7pm. It was a gorgeous evening, and The Ferry (as it’s usually called) is a little fishing village right on the sea. It has a golden sand beach and even has lifeguards in the summer. Definitely worth popping over when you have a bit of time.
The talk went really well and I really enjoyed myself. It was my first chance to try out my new puppets. I got home exhausted after a long day of using my brain!
I live on the outskirts of Dundee so I don’t get a chance for a Starbucks that often, and the are no Pokemon stops or gyms within a mile of me. I am a real Pokemon Go fan so I am loving my new routine of heading in early, grabbing a Starbucks and then playing a bit of Pokemon Go. Yesterday I managed to end up with 4 Pokemon in gyms. Excellent stuff.
In yesterday’s lecture we looked at productivity, autonomy and learning styles. It tapped into my previous knowledge from 20+ years as a business consultant so it was a good insight into how my previous experience would help with this Masters course.
After the lecture it was time to get back to the day job. I had 3 clients to see in my Aberdeen office so I headed up the road, buzzing from how much fun I’m having these days. The office has a cafe and normally I just get by on coffee, but I’d been up since 5am so I figured I would need something a little more substantial to get through the day.
I eventually got back at 8pm as I had to stop for petrol on the way and get some bits from Asda. My husband and daughter were waiting for me back home and we are starting to get low on supplies as I’ve not had a chance to get shopping yet this week.
