Good eats in Dundee – (Revised)

I know I’ve written about good eats in Dundee before, but its a topic that has to be revisited I’m back with some new favourites that you just have to try out.

  1. Mozza

My new favourite pizza place. They do amazing, authentically Italian pizzas. The interior is pretty nice, perfect for a weekend catch up with friends. If you head over for lunch before 5 PM all pizzas are only £5.

  1. Muchacho on Perth Road

The new Mexican place next to Dr. Noodles (I have to admit I’ve forgotten the name of the restaurant a couple of times) has great fillings and quite a unique selection of salsas. Admittedly, been only been a couple of times but I really enjoyed the soft shell tacos.

  1. Tail end

I know this one has been around for a good while now but I think it’s definitely worth being included in the list. A slightly more sophisticated alternative to the usual fish and chips –  pretty partial to the tacos here as well.

  1. 192 Caird

For some reason this has always been the meeting point for my group of friends when we choose to go out for a nice meal. There are some great lunch options and deserts when you are looking to sit down and relax over some good food.

  1. Clarks 24h Bakery

Dundee’s very own legendary 24-hour bakery has to be featured at some point. Most often visited after good night out, Clarks is a landmark you have to visit at some point in your university experience here.

  1. The Giddy Goose

Another cute instagram-worthy place along Perth Road. Definitely a place worth going for a night out after a long week. Would highly recommend the fried gnocchi and the passion fruit Eton’s Mess

Let me know if there are any other spots that deserve a place on a future list.

Until next time x

Hello everyone! I'm an international medical student, currently in my 4th year. I'm setting out to experience as much of Dundee student life as possible as I finish with my last years of undergraduate studies. I'm a closet bookworm and a foodie with an obsession of baking all things sweet. I also drink copious amounts of tea.
