Making a Show

The Dundee Uni Photography Society recently held an exhibition for its members.

The show took place in the DUSA, the student union, at the turn of the month just before students set off for the spring break. It was at DUSA’s 4th floor near the student support centre, in an area that serves as a lunch area around noon, and is a place to study and hang out during the rest of the day.

As a result of this, all members’ photos got a large exposure to students from all disciplines.

The canvas prints were done by the My-Picture.co.uk, and they looked great. The company also kindly offered us a discount coupon, so if you are looking to treat someone with an original gift, or decorating your walls with your photo, “MYDUNDEEPICTURE” at the website above gets you 15% off.

The show was a conclusion of the photographic society’s program for this academic year, during which they organized 15 lectures and 10 out-of-classroom events, such as trips around Scotland, local photo walks and members’ BBQ.

But rumors have it that there will be another event after the exams, so keep an eye on their their Facebook. If you are interested in joining the society next year, they will be at the DUSA Freshers’ Fair 2019.
