Working for the University of Dundee, Centre for Entrepreneurship as the marketing officer and I oversee promoting entrepreneurship within the school of Social Sciences. As we had Hailey Scanlon the week before talking about her journey the window for promotion was quite short which presented some problems for marketing this masterclass effectively.
With Paul having graduated from Dundee University in architecture and going on to work on Grand Theft Auto, designing the first map I decided to push this class out in computing as well as social sciences to boost numbers, something that worked extremely well and leads to a large increase in numbers.
I also met with the dean for Social Sciences and the school president who was super keen to promote this event across the school, something I was really happy about! It also meant we had some great decisions on how to further work within the school so watch this space.
Overseeing traditional marketing I needed to place posters across the campus, so I hope you saw one along with flyers.
Working in conjunction with the social media officer I had our event shared across multiple Facebook groups and email lists to further the reach of the event. 1.4k reach in a week!
Over 140 people registered this event making it one of our most attended masterclasses!
