The University WordPress network provides a centralised tool, allowing academic and service departments to promote activities and allow collaboration and interactivity with its end-users.

How do I apply for a WordPress site/blog?

Complete the online WordPress Request form to apply for a site.

Alternatively, log a call with the Service Desk by email and the Web team will be notified.

What service will be provided?

The Web Team will:

  • process your request
  • create your site
  • grant administration access
  • migrate an existing style /theme
  • migrate existing content (if applicable)
  • implement plug-ins

Your responsibility

Individual sites are the responsibility of the academic and service department, including administration and moderating activity to ensure participants adhere to University policies and the JANET acceptable use policy.
