Hard Work and Recovery

I did an insane long writing session. The kind where I wanted both to go out for a walk and go to sleep immediatly afterwards, I was exhausted and rejuvenated, weary and excited, an amazing contradiction.

If you write regularly writing can be routine, and routines can be stimulating, more often they can be tedious. Sometimes I need a good kick in the pants to remind me why I fell in love with doing this.

Today I’ll be taking quite easy, I’ll still work (as demonstrated by what you’re reading right now) but won’t go at it as hard. Doing low-maintenance tasks like reading and well, contributing in the blog.

All work and no play makes Sam a dull boy after all.

After all

After all

After all.
