The official opening of the 2016 Art, Design & Architecture Degree Show took place on Friday night, and among those who flocked to the event was a group of German students from the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. Accompanied by Andreas Kaiser, Professor of Art and Space, the third year students arrived in Dundee on Friday. Andreas said: “They are keen to get to know other universities, they love to go abroad. The students saw the degree show video and decided to visit Dundee for the degree show, primarily to see the Interior and Environmental Design section.”
The group arrived in Scotland last week and as soon as they arrived in Dundee they went for fish and chips before heading to the opening night of degree show, spending the rest of the weekend exploring the city. When asked about the weather, they replied: “We thought it would be colder!”
